We bought Emeril non-stick pots and pans about 8 years ago and they’re shot. I admit, we weren’t completely careful with them 100% of the time….but I still think they should have held up better. Anyway, will I regret getting stainless cookware? Any tips for buying? Thx

I saw ‘Tools of the trade’ stainless steel cookware set at Macy’s. However, no one I know has tried this brand
I am very confused between buying this set at Macys, or buying something more famous like farberware/revere. I would appreciate any feedback for the stainless steel set mentioned above. BTW, this set is for $60, which is much cheaper than farberware. However, I dont want to buy a lower quality stuff, and end up replacing it in a few years (means spending more money!)…………Please advice..
Pros. Can I have your advice on 10 piece stainless cookware sets.?
All the sets I’m looking at are mirror finish stainless with an aluminum core in the base for even heat distribution. All have heat resistant handles. The KithchenAid are rubber coated.
Cuisinart – $110
KitchenAid – Rubber handles limit oven temps to 400 degrees. – $120
Emerilware(made by All-Clad) – Glass lids. Stylish copper clad base. – $170
I’d like to know what direction you cooks who are familiar with multi-ply stainless cookware think I should go.
how do I clean an expensive set of Wolfgang Pluck stainless steel cookware?
I let eggs boil too long in one of the pans-it is now BLACK and I can’t find anything to remove the black stain–and also my non-stick skillets with the set-now STICK, although they are not scratched anywhere
How do you prevent food from sticking to stainless steel cookware?
I want to get a professional set of cookware but I’m afraid of food falling apart and burning the food and pans so do you have any pointers on how to cook on stainless steel?
What causes the “pitting” in stainless steel cookware?
I have both mixing bowls and cookware made of stainless steel. Both of these show dark pitted areas. I don’t cook with the mixing bowls and have never hit or damaged either one. Is it the type of food used in them, like acidic items? I am sure it is the quality of the product, but how do you tell when buying?
Why do professional chefs use stainless steel cookware if they’re so difficult to clean?
I’m looking to get a cookware set and wondering why I should/should not get non-stick, but I also want to do things right.
Thanks
whenever i’ve used stainless steel the food always sticks to it

Is it OK to use a cooking spray on stainless steel cookware?
I am considering buying stainless steel cookware and am doing research but cannot find any info as to whether or not you can use cooking spray such as Pam on stainless steel and whether it affects cooking results in a positive or negative way. Sure it’s best to use butter or oil for flavor but I want to use less fats and I do not want to purchase non-stick cookware. Thank you.

What’s the best way to clean my stainless steel cookware?
I love my stainless steel cookware. Nothing sears like it, and it’s the only thing to use for high heat cooking. But my pans are starting to look like pretty bad. I’ve used Brillo pads on them and it’s gotten a lot (but not all) of the burnt black off, but now I have discoloration and white blotches.
I know I can’t restore these pans to looking like new; I just need to know the proper care. How clean exactly should I expect them to get?
What foods are best cooked in good quality stainless steel cookware? I’m planning to…?
I am planning to purchase Calphalon Contemporary cookware, however I’m having a difficult time deciding between the stainless steel or the nonstick. The exterior on the stainless steel is absolutely beautiful, however I’m concerned with my food sticking to the pans. Instead of buying a set of one or the other, I’m thinking I should buy each piece individually. So I’d like to know, what foods are best cooked in stainless steel and why?
Is stainless steel cookware the way to go ?
My husband is CONSTANTLY ruining our non-stick cookware. He can not get it through his head that he can not use metal utensils with non-stick cookware. It is driving me INSANE!!!
If I get stainless steel will he be able to destroy them?
Also, what are the downfalls of stainless vs. non-stick?
