I let eggs boil too long in one of the pans-it is now BLACK and I can’t find anything to remove the black stain–and also my non-stick skillets with the set-now STICK, although they are not scratched anywhere
how do I clean an expensive set of Wolfgang Pluck stainless steel cookware?

On the stainless have you tried boiling water in it with just a little baking soda. on the non-stick I do not know. You might try calling the extension service of your state and see what they suggest. they can help you with all sorts of cleaning problems.

Put about 1/8 inch deep white vinegr into the bottom of the pan and put it on the stove till it gets really hot (not boiling). Then take a mildly abrasive scrubber to it while it is still hot. You can use a spatula to scrape the bottom and then finish by scrubbing. To make your stainless pans non-stick again you are supposed to pour enough white vinegar into the bottom to cover and boil for 1 minute. Then dump out the vinegar. If you are talking about teflon type pans then you have been cooking in them at too high a temp and ruined them.

You may have cooked with the heat too high. I have a Wolfgang skillet, and I only clean it with soap and water. Everything usually come right off. Try lemon juice and water, and heat the cookware to remove the burn discoloration. About the non stick coating, you may need to spray the pans with Pam before cooking. If this doesn’t work, contact the manufacturer, maybe you have a defective set.

On the stainless steel part, (the outside) use Bartenders Friend. You can purchase this in the kitchen isle at your supermaket next to the cleansers and soap pads. It is made especially for stainless. It will clean it right up. The inside, I am not sure, you may have to use a little cooking oil in it. Hope this helps.
