When our wedding-register set finally gave in (after 12 years), we had one stainless steel Farberware piece (a pass-on from Mom) and I knew that that is what I wanted for everything. The 12-piece Classic fit our needs the most and what a bargain!!!! Love the curled lip–keeps liquids from running down sides after pouring off–to the see-through lids (first-timers)! Even heating and easy clean-up. Would recommend that you just stop looking around now and purchase.

These are pretty standard Farberware pots and pans. The set is thorough, you get pretty much everything you could need. Stock pots and sauce pots and frying pans – and all for an awesome price.
These aren’t fancy, the handles are plastic, but as I can tell you from havin owned a different pot from Farberware for over 20 years with the same handle, they’re made to last. These pots aren’t going anywhere. They hold up in the dishwasher (NOT THE frying pans, ONLY the pots) and even though they’re not all teflon coated, food doesn’t really stick to them.
My only real complaint is that Farberware decided to “update” something that worked for a long time. These are a new take on their standard Classic pots and pans – they have glass lids and are slightly bell-shaped. The bell shape makes it a little harder to clean (the big stock pot especially) because you have to scrub along the contour. I also liked the old metal lids better, but these do just fine. If the price on the non-bell shaped ones had been the same as the price on these with as many pans, I would have gotten it instead of this one. Regardless, I’m entirely satisfied with these pots and pans and would buy the set again if I needed more pots and pans.

This is a very nice set of pots and pans. I’ve had them for about a month now and am very happy with the purchase. They are sturdy and include various pot sizes.
